Prom

Everything worked out wonderfully, Jake and his wife Dalma were fine with Leon moving in as long as he kept up his grades and visited on the weekends. I knew they would be with having two other boys to raise plus Jake's sister's family in the same house.

And for once life was completely perfect, except of course things with school. All our teachers it seemed had been giving us more work to do which meant Leon and I barely saw each other. Yeah at lunch and in between classes but we don't share any same subjects and when we get home we just kind of end up in separate rooms stuck with our homework for hours.

So I took the liberty of signing the both of us up for Music Club, it's just an hour two days a week that we get to hang out with each other and practice our music.

And it seemed as I was trying to think of ways to get closer to Leon, Wesley was thinking of ways to get with Quiana Hightower. But that wasn't going to work seeing as Quiana was Gino Heart's girlfriend.

"I won't tell Gino, it was an honest mistake,"
"I'm so sorry, I really had no idea! I had never heard him talk about you and you were just so pretty..." Wesley sighed. "If I was your boyfriend I'd tell every single person I met about you."
"Oh Wes...please don't say things like that."

"Do you think we're going to be together forever, Leon?"
"I really hope we are. I don't see myself loving anyone else but you Shy."
"You don't feel weird that we're all each other has ever dated?"
"Not at all! I feel better actually. They would have all disappointed me and then I would have met you and wondered why I wasted my time with everyone else. When you know..."
"You know. I feel the exact same way. It's getting late, I have a big Chemistry test tomorrow." I let go of his hand and stood up, Leon following suit.

"Wait one second, I think there is a spider crawling up my leg." Leon bent over and began messing with his pant leg.
"Oh my Plumbob shake your leg! I have shoes on i'll try and kill it once you get it loose!"
"There, it's gone," And as he stood back up I noticed the purple daisies in his hand. "Well you know how prom is coming up and everything...so will you go with me?"
"How long have you had those flowers in your pants?"
"Will you answer my question?"
"Yes, yes of course I will go with you."

The next day after my Chemistry test my history class got to go to the graveyard which was completely scary and spooky but I lived to tell the tale of it and I got a free poster.

And after school Friday I had Traci Bouchard come over which was tons of fun. We ran around the house goofing off and acting like little kids. I even gave her a quick little make over because it seemed she had been eyeing my brother. Gross, but I guess Wesley needs love too.

And it worked wonderfully because he asked her to go to prom with him and she eagerly agreed. Good thing seeing as prom was tomorrow.

It took about two hours of curling my hair and trying to work with the make up mom let me borrow, something I don't normally use and finally I was ready.

Of course Wesley and Leon missed picture time, how I took less time getting ready then them is a very confusing matter. But Dad got a few shots of me in the backyard that aren't half bad.

And he grabbed one of Leon on the way out to the limo.

"Hold it, hold it! Just stand"
"Tyler i'm holding up the limo!"
"There, there, you can go. Now where's Wesley?" Dad turned around and began towards the limo.
"He's-in-here-already-not-getting-out-were-already-late-thanks-love-you-Dad-bye!" I stuck my head out quickly after Leon climbed in, flashed a smile and shut the group in.

This is sure to be a night to remember.

One

"Leah it is like nine o'clock, do we still have to keep playing? You have worn me out!" Leon huffed.
"Well I don't know, Leon. Do you want to be able to wake up tomorrow?" Leah raised her eyebrow.
"After this game of tag I honestly don't even think I will wake up tomorrow."
Leah rolled her eyes, "Fine, you can go in and hang out with Shy now. Tag reconvenes after I get out of school!" And she headed back into the house. Leon followed, we had something we had been wanting to talk about all day but Leah of course got to him first.

If it was possible, Leon had been spending even more time at my house after we had made things official. Which everyone loved, Leah had someone to boss around, Wesley and Tyler had another guy in the house, Mom had someone to take out the garbage when neither of the men in the house wanted to and I...I had the love of my life to spend every waking moment with.

"I just don't feel right kissing you and acting like were a couple when were not."
"So what does that mean? Do we stop hanging out? Because I don't think I can see you and not kiss you or hold your hand."

"No, no not at all. That would probably break my heart if I couldn't see you. What it means is...I want you to be my girlfriend, Shy. No other girl could even compare to you."

"Oh Lee...do you mean that?"
"Of course, so what do you say? Will you be my girlfriend?"

"I'm nervous, what if they say no? I mean we're only sixteen. Sixteen year old couples don't get to live together."

"It'll be fine, you already are over here all the time. You stay the night pretty much every weekend. My mom adores you and you already have a nice comfortable bed awaiting you in my room. You have a job so you can support yourself."

"But what if my parents don't go for it?"
"Well then I guess I'll have to kidnap you."

That seemed to relax him completely, a smile grew on his face as he cupped mine with his hands and brought me closer.

"You always know how to stop me from having one of my panic attacks."
"Though I think you're silly for even having them. Everything will be fine, everything is fine. As long as we have each other, right?"

He answered me by placing a soft kiss on my lips.

We spent the rest of the night practicing our music, we've been wanting to start a band for ages and my Dad finally fessed up and bought us some used instruments and told us as soon as we were good enough we could start playing at the bar.

But finally it felt like the right time to ask, they were both home at the same time and Wesley and Leah were up in their rooms.

"I should ask, I'm the one moving in."
"No, it needs to be me. You stay in my room, alright? But you should put some clothes on in case they want to talk to you. Wish me luck."

I walked out, the two were on the couch watching the TV. I closed the door and took my place in front of them.

"Mom, Dad. I have something to ask of you,"
"What now? A drum kit for Leon?" Dad sighed as he put the TV on mute.
"No he loves the piano, it was a really good choice Dad. This is something a little bit more then that."
"What is it, sweetie?" Mom smiled.
"It's okay to say no, okay? It was just an idea. But...LeonandIwanttoknowifhecanmoveinwithus." I pushed out all mumbled together. I hope they heard, I don't think I could say it again.

They gave each other a look, one of those silent conversation ones that I hated because I never knew what they were thinking.

"I mean, he's over here all the time, and Leah loves him and he has a job so he'll take care of himself and well you guys have known him most of his life so he's not like some sketch that I grabbed out of a dumpster--"

"Shy, Shy. Calm down. We love Leon and think he's great but--" Mom started up but I couldn't let her say no.

"Mom, please. I'll do anything!"
Dad sighed and unmuted the TV. "Fine."
I squealed and ran over to him and hugged him tightly.
"But on one condition, we get you guys bunk beds. I never liked you sharing that bed."
"Of course Dad, anything!" I ran to my room repeatedly telling them thank you.

"They said yes!"
"I could hear! This is awesome!"
"Now all we have to do is ask your parents."

Shy

Shy Isabel Crane, my first girl. She looked just like her father and always spoke what was on her mind. Though she had a temper it gave us more to love about her. And now she was sixteen, I couldn't believe it.

And unlike my predictions Leon stuck around, and he became a structured part of our household. But I would never admit out loud the small skip my heart would make when he'd walk in the door and I would mistake him for Jake.

Leon wasn't Jake though, he was sweet, and thought of Shy first before anything. She was so lucky to have a best friend like him.

As Tyler and I predicted a year or so ago, Shy and Leon got closer. It was sweet but I also felt caution, the apple never falls too far from the tree.

Though I think I jinxed this, Leon showed more of his Dad.

"I don't know, Shy. I don't really feel right kissing you."
"Did I do something?"
"No, no. It's just me."

"Oh yeah, the typical it's not me it's you! You think I don't see past that, Leon? I'm your best friend. I'm the one girl that didn't start ignoring you after you puked all over the classroom in the sixth grade. You are one of the most confusing frustrating people I have ever met!"
"Shy--"
"Shut up and leave!"

Shy took a lesson from me, and when I was filled up with extra emotion and so many different feelings I found comfort in the treadmill.

~~
I know I didn't have an heir vote, but for this time around I chose the heir myself. Shy Crane is Generation 2 Heir, I hope everyone is okay with that. Just last legacy I didn't like the person that was chosen and it kind of led to it being stopped but next generation there will definitely be a vote for everyone to join into. I also got Generations so my mods had to be taken out, hopefully not for too long.
Thanks to everyone who is reading! :)

Wesley

I couldn't understand how the years went by so fast in front of me, Wesley had just turned fifteen and Shy was close behind him. Instead of bikes and playing cops and robbers, it was music and cheerleaders.

But my, Wesley did take after my looks, closely resembling an adorable little bunny rabbit. Something I loved to tell him before I got one of his, "Mom, come on! I'm not ten anymore."

Wesley spent his time with his older friend Gino, funny enough, Gino Lane. Jake's son. Though it didn't bother me anymore, one look to Tyler or the kids and I realized how happy I was I didn't marry Jake.

Wesley took his big brother role very seriously, helping (doing) with Shy's homework.

Or spending time making little Leah laugh.

Not only was Wesley making friends with the Lane clan but Shy had also took it upon herself to make friends with Jake's younger son Leon. But I knew as soon as they entered junior high and girls gained cooties and boys got gross their friendship would slowly dissipate. I mean I hope.
