Nervous

The nervous feelings I had yesterday morning? Well they're back. And the only way I know how to cure those is with a bowl of ice cream.

Or more like the tub.

As I was pulling up at the station I saw Jake getting out of his car. Was this fate calling my name or what? Not only are we neighbors, but he must have gotten the job and now we work the same hours. I wished I had the guts to ask him to hang out, but I just smiled and waved before rushing inside the building for a long nine hours.

Work was easy and went by so quick, they had me doing a little of everything and I got to spend a few minutes with Jake, who told me to call him later tonight so we could hang out. Which was exactly what I had been wishing for...

I might have took 'later tonight' as five exact minutes after I got out of work.

A few rings in, he picked up.

"I thought it would be you,"

"Did I call too soon?" Oh Plum Bob I bet I seem desperate.

"Not at all, I was just thinking about what I should do."

"Want to meet up?"

"Of course, I'll meet you there,"

I headed over to the pond for wait for him, and after a few minutes I noticed his car pull up. He jogged over,

and then past me. Which sort of made me laugh.

But then he turned and saw me, another cute grin on his face. I felt my insides light up with butterflies. This guy had me falling for him after just a day and a half. I wonder what he's going to make me wish for...

Was this a little better? It's so hard to do this Wishacy when I just want her to be forward with Jake. Thank Plumbob she's had a natural attraction to him from the beginning.
