"I have this game in the bag!" I muttered to myself as I moved my pawn.
My stomach churned but I ignored it and told myself as soon as this game was over I'd go get some lunch at the diner.
Except that churn became nausea. I stood up and decided I should go home and lay down. Oh god I dont think I can make it home!
And before I could take another step I leaned over and hurled. Oh my God, what did I eat to make me so sick? Is it the flu? I can't be sick I'm going to lose out on so many jobs!
But it just so happens Tyler was at home hurling up his lunch too. So it's not just me, that totally rules out the crazy idea that I could be...pregnant.
A few days later it was Tyler and I's six month anniversary. I had planned a special surprise dinner where I had a certain question to ask him. I was nervous and scared but also really excited.
After putting on the brand new dress I bought and fixing up my hair I set everything up, and finally I heard the taxi pull up, steps, door open and close.
"Alyssa?"
"I'm out here, honey!"
"Happy Anniversary!"
"This is so sweet, Lyss. You're amazing." He brought me in for one of his sweet kisses.
"Hopefully I'm next. I have been feeling sick every morning."
"Tyler, I love you so much. I'm so glad I moved in here and got to know you. You're my best friend and I can't imagine a day where I'm not waking up to your face." I took a deep breath. Here it comes. "And I want to ask--"
He leaned down on one knee and reached for something in his back pocket. "I was planning on asking you it tonight. Because I'm so in love with you Alyssa, not having you as my wife is killing me. Make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"
It's funny how much we thought a like, how we both were going to propose to one another. It just showed me how right Tyler was for me. I wanted nothing more then to be with him in every way possible.

So all of a sudden Alyssa wanted to get married and I freaked out, and then Tyler had the wish too and I knew it was destiny. And how lucky seeing as they had been having risky woohoo while I wasn't looking. But that's fine with me, getting a jump start on the next generation!
