Days Fly By

My first born baby grew up somehow,
And I never saw, though it was under my brow.

With age came responsibility for Wesley, who was so eager to take on a new gold fish. But that didn't stop him from forgetting to feed poor Henry before going to play with his friends.

Since the bar had helped bring in extra income we scrounged enough money to do some adding on to the house; a second floor filled with two rooms, a bathroom and an extra room for me to do whatever I wanted with. Wesley moved upstairs, quite tired of Shy waking him up in the middle of the night screaming.

A crack and a pop out she came.
Old and new, it was all the same.

As I was rushing to the hospital, Tyler outside and unaware was finishing his Lifetime Wish by finally knowing all he could know about bartending.

When you were born you filled my heart with pride,
And I was overcome by the joy I felt inside.

A few days later I was allowed to come home with little Leah.

And it is as though as soon as Leah came into our home the days and months flew by, Shy was growing up and gaining an attitude as any prepubescent girl would. But maybe she was a little more aggressive.

And as Leah became more independent it gave me time to work on the extra room we built, which soon became my office for case work.

Finally it was time to get back into my career, with Shy and Wesley going to school and Tyler's dreams already fulfilled it was the right time to complete mine.
